Ontem eu vi Shrek 3. Simplesmente IMPRESSIONANTE :rever1:.

A sensação de profundidade é a maior que eu já vi até agora em um filme HD-DVD. Tem horas que a gente acha que está vendo uma exibição 3D. Como disse um review que eu li (e agora concordo): mais que isso só colocando aqueles óculos coloridos pra filme tridimensional.

A Mitsubishi trabalha no projeto de um player Blu-ray para converter os filmes Blu-ray 2D existentes para 3D...(se vai funcionar bem ou vai deixar a desejar, é outra história...):

All the demo material had been shot in 3D, but the kicker to the whole presentation was that Mitsubishi apparently has a Blu-ray player in its labs that can convert existing 2D movies into 3D on the fly. Better yet, according to company representatives, it may be available early next year. I'm pretty skeptical that the technology is going to show up anytime soon, and I have my doubts that converted 2D content is going to look all that great in 3D. But the 3D movement is gathering more momentum, as other companies such as Samsung and Philips continue working on ways to bring 3D into the home. Ideally, you wouldn't have to wear glasses (Philips is trying to integrate 3D right into the display), but I have a feeling you're only going to get a true Imax-like 3D experience with some eyewear.

Rumors have been circulating for a while now, but it seems that Warner Bros. is one step closer to going HD DVD exclusive. A source from Weinstein has informed me that the HD DVD group mentioned this in their last meeting in hopes to sway their upcoming neutral announcement. Warner Bros. is the number one provider of high definition discs so far, and ditching the Blu-ray format would be the last nail in the coffin for Blu-ray. Expect an announcement within the next month.
Paramount has shown that supporting one format can still create many sales with their number one high def disc ever 'Transformers", and current success "Shrek The Third."

Fala turma,
Depois de conhecer o Toshiba HD-A3 , meus Dvd´s se transformaram em Vhs. Caramba que show de imagem :legal::legal::legal: e ainda não calibrei a Pana pois ainda estou amaciando a criança, estou assistindo tudo no modo Cinema.

O filme foi lançado no Brasil com o título brega de "O ataque dos vermes malditos" (difícil pensar num título pior).

É um filme que eu gostei muito à época. Pelo título você acha que é um filme "B" mas a produção é relativamente boa. A história também é legal.
É um que eu pretendo ver de novo :tu:.

Mais sobre Shrek 3:

Nos extras é possível ver cenas com a música principal de diversas animações da Dreamworks.
Tem Shrek, Shrek 2, Espanta Tubarão, Madagascar e outros que eu não lembro.

E o mais legal: todos em HD !!! A imagem de Espanta Tubarão (Shark Tale) está impressionante. Acredito que será um dos próximos lançamentos :legal:.

Apesar da falta de extras, muito bom os 4 filmes e a trilha TrueHD realmente faz diferença comparando com a DD+; imagino que deva ficar excelente em shows musicais; recomendo se alguém conseguir achar ainda (legendas PT-BR): :legal:

As imagens são de boa qualidade, digo, produção satisfatória, boas tomadas, iluminação...(boa resolução eu seu que deve ter, mas produção são outros 500)..

Conclusion
I'll restate what I've said above, but without all the detail. Here is why I believe HD DVD is the best choice for the consumer this holiday season:

All HD DVD players are standard, and you can feel confident that you will not have any issues playing back any HD DVD title on any HD DVD player.
Since all HD DVD players are internet-capable, any updates that you may have to do to your player can be done without complicated downloads, DVD burns and upgrade routines.
HD DVD is region-free, meaning that no matter in which country you buy your HD DVD, it will play in your player.
HD DVD media has less copy protection. Less copy protection means faster disc load times.
Sale prices for HD DVD players this holiday are around $100, much more consumer- (and wallet-) friendly than sale prices for Blu-ray players, which are around $400.
I expect (dare I say hope) that this will generate a lot of conversation. It remains to be seen how much of it will be in opposition to the recommendation I'm making. I will close this article with a recent quote that I came across that seems to be quite apropos:

Olhando no site da ezy procurei os próximos lançamentos em HD-DVD e me interessei por alguns. Só que o site só só especifica detalhes como audio e legendas dos filmes que já estão disponíveis. Portanto lá naum fala se lançamentos como:Shining, The (1980) (Stanley Kubrick's) (HD DVD) (http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/795839) ,

Amigo, o unico que pode lhe garantir isso é a Universal; estão aí todos os link onde consta legenda PT-PT; o preço da ezy estão em dolar australiano e estão com impostos; eles tirarm os impostos para venda INTL e na amazon pode até estar mais barato, mas a chance de vir com i.i é de uns 98% e ao contrário na ezy; geralmente na Australia é lançado com as mesmas legendas de UK, mas novamente, o único que pode lhe garantir isso é somente a Universal :legal:

Se não saiu com legenda PT em UK; até agora, também não sai na Australia; o Shinning só a versão espanhola apresenta legenta PT-PT conforme listado aí atrás (http://www.htforum.com/vb/showpost.php?p=879091&postcount=2783); a de UK não terá :tu:

Well, let me first start off by saying the entire front face is a very nice high gloss piano black. Very attractive. Now to what matters...

I will be 100% up front and honest here. I expected to open it and return it tomorrow! I really did. After spending a few hours though it has officially replaced my XA2 and A35 as the starter in my set up. It's true. It really has. I was stunned at how fast it loads. Its like Toshiba decided to wait and put the fastest load time on the HD805. Most HD DVDs that I put in loaded in about 10 to 12 seconds. Some even less! It is right up there with the Panasonic DMP BD30K. It may not equal it in load times but it is right there. That was a HUGE surprise.

Moving on to the HD DVD comparisons. Yes, it is the exact same menu as the XA2 and A35. Nothing different. It was a breeze to get going. I did forget about the button in the push open door on the front that requires you to select SD or HD output. So I compared them at 1080i/1080p60/1080p24... Now the interesting stuff. They should all have the exact same picture. Well, for some reason the HD805 has a sharper menu. I know that is no big deal but I found that odd. And all my displays were set the same exact way. It was not a huge difference but enough for me to take a second look. It was more noticeable with SD dvds which I will get to in a minute or two. Now playing the movies they all were pretty much the same. I did like the 1080i and 1080p pic Q slightly better on the HD805. For some reason there was less noise in the picture. My build date is October so it makes me wonder if they did a slight modification or two to the REON chip? I played the same exact scenes a few times just to make sure. It was ever so slight though so not enough to get crazy over. My 1080p/24 pic Q was great as well. Very sharp with hardly any noise. This unit was given some good parts because I tried like heck to get it to mess up. By mess up I mean show an error code or freeze or shut down. It wouldn't. It refused to disappoint me. I would have been very happy living with the XA2 or A35 but I am excited to put in the HD805 in my theater set up!

Now to SD dvds. Here is where it actually showed me something. SD dvds look clearer and are rendered with a little more detail. I think there is a XA3 in the works and I am willing to bet it will get the same modifications as the HD805. They obviously did something different with this unit. It is faster at responding, faster at loading and I am seeing a sharper image. Not to mention with all settings at minimum, less noise. And again not enough to throw your XA2 or A35 away but it does clearly show that a new player with these modifications will make a difference in the near future. I think if anything this is a positive for HD DVD. I truly expected the same exact performance of the XA2. I did get the same exact menu interface, cheaper remote and same back as the XA2. But from there I got much faster load times, faster responding, sharper images, less noise, and in my opinion the best looking HD DVD player to date. And of course this units biggest enemy is its pricing. If it were the same price as the XA2 I would choose it hands down over it. Heck, I would even pay a little more (which I just did)...

So I will keep my collector's special limited edition HD805... Who knows, maybe they are on to something... Something better!

Sim Caio, todo disco HD-DVD vai funcionar em qualquer player HD-DVD não importando o lugar que seja fabricado :legal:

A Australia também é PAL e R4 (http://www.mindfully.org/Resource/Video-Formats-World.htm)e os HD-DVDs funcionam perfeitamente :tu:

PS. Naturalmente existe o caso dos discos combos, como esse aí abaixo; daí o lado DVD obedece a região e o sistema de cor, mas o lado HD-DVD vai tocar.

DaTARIUS Opens First European HD DVD Class-A Verification Laboratory (http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/News/Details.aspx?NewsId=21946)

The DVD Forum has approved the DaTARIUS headquarters as the first European Class-A Verification Laboratory for HD DVD-Video disc and HD DVD-ROM disc.

HD DVD drive or media manufacturers can contact the DaTARIUS HD DVD Class-A Lab for technical support regarding the HD DVD format, or to perform the First Production Model Verification required to complete their DVD Format/Logo Licensing Corporation (DVD FLLC) licence. If the evaluation proves to be positive, the DaTARIUS HD DVD Class-A Lab will notify the DVD FLLC of the completion of this requirement. Further information regarding First Production Model erification can be found at the DVD FLLC website: http://www.dvdfllc.co.jp/verification/vr_next.html.

"There are two HD DVD Class-A Labs in the US and eight in the Asia-Pacific region, but to date there has been no HD DVD Class-A Lab in Europe," say Toshihiro Sugaya, Technology Adviser, HD DVD Division, Toshiba.

Class-A Verification Laboratories are run by the DVD Forum's Steering Committee members and/or leading companies in the development of DVD Formats. The labs execute comprehensive DVD verification (First Production Model and Next Production Model), services requested by the DVD Forum (e.g. market inspections), contribute to further development of Test Specifications, testing criteria, specification interpretation, methods and procedures, provide technical support to other Class-A Labs, Class-B and Class-C Labs, DVD FLLC, and the DVD Community, contribute to the development of test tools and provide services to the DVD FLLC (e.g. market inspection, market monitoring, etc.).

For several year DaTARIUS has been offering a service both to its customers and industry: the DaTARCENTER, offering quality control expertise and testing-on-demand for optical media manufacturers. The company has already installed its DaTABANK for HD DVD at key media manufacturers. Earlier this year, the company also released its HD DVD Signal Guide ? a guide that demystifies the HD DVD quality control parameters.

Menu igualzinho o toshiba, nem isso os caras tiveram o trabalho de mudar...

Engraçado que nos primeiros toshibas a gaveta ficava do lado esquerdo e o display do lado direito...

Agora inverteram tudo...

Mas olha... cada dia me impresisona mais com o A2 tanto para HD como para DVD, imagem e som incriveis !!!

Infelizmente descobri que ele não roda cd com MP3, alguem sabe porque ? E nem DVD's que são PAL, o DVD pode ser region free mas se for PAL não roda.

Preços "Coby" pelo dono do formato no lançamento, e ainda com briga de formatos, afugenta o investimento de outros fabricantes.

Toshiba has released the latest firmware updates for HD-E1, HD-EP10 and HD-XE1. The resulting firmware version after this update will be v2.7.

This firmware update covers the following items.

High Bit Rate Audio functionality ( for HD-XE1)
Improves support for 1080p/24Hz OUTPUT (for HD-XE1 and HD-EP10)
Additional OSD languages, improved network connectivity supporting the download of web-enabled network content associated with certain HD DVD discs
Addresses certain disc playback and HDMI/DVI related issues identified by Toshiba.

Sim eu sei! Por isso de momento continuarei usando a tv a cabo, mesmo que a imagem não seja lá estas coisa ( TAMBÉM A PROGRAMAÇÃO NÃO É LÁ ESTAS COISAS!:lol:) E continuarei usando meu DVDPLAYER HDMI com UPSCALING em 1080i, que sinseramente me impressionou muito mesmo, pela qualidade, achei surpreendente!

Mas em pouquissimo tempo estes decodificadores cairão muito de preço!Assim que começar a concorrencia para valer! Eu gosto de comprar as coisas, depois de serem bem testadas até chegar no produto final, aproveitar o melhor preço e de quebra já pegar a coisa 100% aprovada!

Foi assim com minha PANA! O preço que paguei foi de 1 em 1.000 e todos os problemas técnicos que existiam tipo BURN IN foram superados nesta tecnologia!

É como um amigo disse uma vez ser o primeiro nem sempre é ser o melhor, mas o PIONEIRO! Por isto tiro o chapéu para vcs de comprarem estes aparelhos e fazerem sempre estas análizes que orientam aqueles que ficam no aguardo, como eu inclusive!:feliz:

La notizia che vi avevamo comunicato sarebbe stata frutto di un malinteso legato alla prima fornitura estremamente contingentata del lettore e ora resta da capire se il lettore rimarrà identico al modello Toshiba HD-XE1 o/e se subirà un riposizionamento di prezzo dopo le feste natalizie.

A Microsoft reduziu o preço do player HD DVD para o Xbox 360 em 30%. A redução não parece ser efetiva para todos os revendedores, já que nesta quarta-feira apenas a Toys-R-Us e a Amazon.com listavam o player por US$ 129.

Na última redução feita pela empresa, o player HD DVD teve seu preço reduzido de US$ 199 para US$ 179. Diretor Michael Bay ataca a Microsoft e o formato HD-DVD

O diretor do filme Transformers, Michael Bay, revelou sua ira contra a intenção da Microsoft de manter a indefinição em relação ao padrão de filmes em alta-definição ao subsidiar o formato HD-DVD. Em uma mensagem postada em seu fórum particular (http://www.shootfortheedit.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5874&postcount=2), o diretor disse que a Microsoft não quer a vitória do formato HD-DVD, mas sim que todos eles fracassem.

"O que você não sabe são as políticas corporativas. A Microsoft quer que os dois formatos fracassem e então eles podem ser heróis e fazer o mundo ir para os downloads digitais. Esse é o segredo sujo que ninguém está comentando", disse um furioso Bay em resposta a um usuário que reclamava da inexistência de seus filmes no formato Blu-ray.

"É por isso que a Microsoft está dando cheques de 100 milhões de dólares para os estúdios abraçarem o HD-DVD e não o líder e superior Blu-ray. Eles querem confusão no mercado até aperfeiçoarem os downloads digitais. O tempo irá dizer e você verá a verdade", completou.

Apesar do formato Blu-ray, que equipa o Playstation 3, ter uma base instalada já bem maior que o HD-DVD adotado pela Microsoft, alguns estúdios ainda estão fiéis ao formato menos popular.

Bom primeiro! Isto é o que o Michael Bay está dizendo! É a palavra dele e ( MÁGOA) pelos seus filmes não sairem azulzinho!:lol:
Contra a postura da MICROSOFT, agora supomos que seja verdade e dai??? Na indústria sempre foi assim, no mundo dos negócios, vantagens, sujeiras, suborno, favores, falsidade etc sempre andaram de braços dados por uma fatia melhor e maior no mercado!

Estes formatos chegaram tarde demais numa época em que temos HDTV e muita coisa para se baixar na INTERNET, quando disse em outros tópicos que quando fizeram o DVD se já tivessem concebido um disco que suportasse pelo menos 720p ao invés de 480p e os aparelhos também, não estariamos vendo uma guerra idiota e um mercado tão indefinido, hoje bastaria a nós comprarmos apenas uma TV de Plasma ou Lcd e não ter que trocar todo o equipamento e ainda por cima ficar peneirando filme prá comprar!

Outra asneira é ele dizer que o HD DVD é inferior , e que a MICROSOFT está fazendo isso para confundir o mercado, Tremenda asneira, competição de formatos é mais velho que ele ou eu, lembram VHS X BETAMAX e tantos outros formatos que brigaram, isto está me cheirando a medo dos filmes dele terem que AVERMELHAR isso sim!:lol:

Francamente o que o MICHAEL BAY diz acho que só importa mesmo para ele, por que para mim isto não é novidade nehuma, acho que ele e o amigo SPIELBERG deveriam Dirigir mais filmes pois é isso que eles fazem muito bem e falar bem menos, ou melhor ainda nem falar!

Tudo bem, cara... até concordo contigo... só que, neste caso, estamos falando da mesma notícia dentro do forum de HD DVD, e não de blu-ray, como este está publicado. Acho importante distinguirmos isso pq, eu, por exemplo, não acesso o forum do blu-ray pq tenho um HD DVD e não me preocupo com o blu-ray em si.

Por mais que o topico seja semelhante, são duas visões diferentes da mesma notícia. A visão blu-ray e a visão HD DVD.

Será que desenhos animados, como este LIGA DA JUSTIÇA em alta definição, tem tanta diferença assim do DVD convencional???

É que desenho 2 D é difrente de filmes e desenhos 3D, que possuem muito mais detalhes para ser notado em alta definição, estes desenhos 2 D por sí só já possuem uma ótima imagem, será que a diferença seria muito grande???

pelo que percebo aqui no forum, vc é o maior defensor do HD-DVD aqui no Forum. Com esse dolar barato, me intusiamos em comprar um player na minha proxima viagem aos EUA. Hoje, qual player vc me recomendaria pelo custoXbeneficio e qual vc considera indicutivelmente o melhor, independente do preço.

Confesso que hj sou um adepto do BD, mas com esses precos mais em conta e essa guerra sem fim entre as tecnologias, estou bem propenso em ter os dois em casa.

Eu nem vou esquentar a cabeça por cerca de R$ 100,00, pois acabei de receber um Denon 3808CI e um projetor Mitsubishi HC 6000, e ambos tinha um invoice com valor beeem menor, assim, ganhamos de um lado e perdemos de outro. ;)

O que receio é ficar "levantando poeira" e os caras resolvem cadastrar meu endereço num tipo de lista negra e aí tudo o que vier para cá será taxado! :doente:

Comprei também o DVE na versão HD DVD para os ajustes finos.

Pergunto se há a necessidade de se comprar o HQV também(seria só para testar que faz o progrssive melhor?), já tenho a versão DVD, vi no site deles que existe a opção de comprar o combo: BD + DVD, HD DVD + DVD etc MAS não têm a opção BD + HD DVD!

Existe DVE em Blu-ray? precisa mesmo para fazer o ajuste fino também no PS3?

Para contestar eles exigem cópia do extrato do cartão de crédito com o débito correspondente da fatura :bD

Eduardo, se não estou enganado, o DVE é para calibrar a TV/Projetor e o HQV serve apenas para testar; não existe "TotalHD" no HQV :tu:

DVE BD deve sair em jan/fev 2008; vai precisar de 2 entradas que memorize cada uma das calibragens porque tem tudo para ser diferente da do A2; parabéns pelo Denon (http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3510.asp); o meu Onkyo 875 (http://www.onkyousa.com/model.cfm?class=Receiver&m=TX-SR875&p=i) deve chegar até domingo :legal:

CONCLUSION

The HD-A30 isn’t for everyone. If you already have a projector or HD monitor equipped with a decent video processor, the HD-A3 may be all you’ll need. 1080p/24 output mode from the HD-A30 is very film-like, but you’ll still see some scan line artifacts from time to time.

The VRS processor does a poor job with interlaced-to-progressive scan conversion. In fact, it seems to be performing half-resolution processing, based on the Realta HQV test results. As a result, I’d recommend staying away from the HD-A30’s 1080p/60 mode entirely. If your HDTV can’t handle 1080p/24 refresh, then go with 1080i/30 output — it may very well give you better image quality.

Thanks to tapsas on AVSForum, you can see a diagnostic screen on your HD DVD player by pressing “Display-1-9-5-Display” on your remote. The interesting thing is, it appears that 2nd Gen and newer HD DVD players are running the Windows CE operating system. If you guys can run this code, please take a picture of the results and post a link in the comments.

Just about every other high-definition disc player out there is attached to some "free movie" promotion, so it's not all that shocking to hear that Venturer's UK-bound SHD7001 won't be any different. Aside from hearing that the still unpriced player will indeed be available initially in the UK through QVC on December 29th, those with this atop their must-have list can also look forward to quite a few extras. Reportedly, the package will include HD DVD titles Hulk and Troy, a free HDMI cable and a voucher that allows buyers to receive five additional movies gratis courtesy of the European HD DVD Promotional Group. It's noted that customers will have until January 31, 2008 to select their flicks from a predetermined list, but we suppose we'll have to wait until a price tag gets attached to this thing before figuring out if it's worth picking up.

The IME (In Movie Experience) is subtitled in Dutch, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese.

The In-Movie Experience found on the first disc is a visual commentary track that features the students of Hogwarts (Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and several others) who relay their experiences from the set to you via a picture-in-picture window that is also used to show some behind-the-scenes footage. The age of the participants should give you some insight into what to expect here, with the commentary somewhat light on technical information and heavy on platitudes and relaying how much fun everything was. Radcliffe does attempt to talk more about the development of Harry in the film and how he approached this, though he doesn’t appear to be very comfortable in front of the camera. Watson is guilty of over-describing what is happening on screen, but like Radcliffe does try and bring more to the track by discussing the characters in the film. Everyone else focuses on their experiences making the film with the approach coming over as deliberately audience appropriate (it’s definitely aimed at younger viewers), and this tone is backed up by these little animated character pictures which appear and dissolve into fun facts about the actor. Contrasting well with these lighter elements are 26 branching vignettes (all presented in 1080P) which almost exclusively focus on the special effects and set design seen in the film. Only a few minutes each (with a total running time of 63 minutes), they’re perfect examples of how to reveal the magic of modern day cinema without drowning you in boring technical speak, all using scene progression examples and other visual aids with clear and concise explanations provided by the technical specialists presenting them. There are also a couple of vignettes on the new character Dolores Umbridge, and pieces on Rupert’s giggles, the wand battle choreography and of course the kiss between Harry and Cho.

The interface which controls the IME is a breeze to use, giving you the option to quickly skip to each point in the film where a picture-in-picture segment is using the arrow buttons on your remote while the disc icon which represents the IME in the top left corner of the screen turns gold and starts to spin every time there is a branching vignette available. To access you simply hit enter and you are seamlessly whisked off and then brought right back as soon as it’s done playing.

Another HD DVD exclusive found on the first disc are some Web Enabled Features. “Pick Your Favourite Scenes” lets you do just that, only it goes beyond the usual bookmark feature and allows you to assemble them into a montage and share them online (and you can see what others have come up with). There is also a “Live Community Screening” feature which allows you to gather friends together for a virtual screening party (the point of which escapes me). The back cover lists “Wallpaper and Ringtones” as a third option (presumably for a price) but this was not an option on the disc. I’ll hold my hand up right now and admit that I didn’t even bother with the registration required to access these, as none of it interests me and I certainly don’t know anyone else with a HD DVD player, this disc and the interest required for the community features. Still, it’s there if you want it…

Moving onto the second disc, you will first notice that the branching vignettes are available here as well, only you can select and watch them at your own leisure. They’re called “Focus Points” on this disc, and are presented sans decorative border which is present if you watch them as part of the IME. Also present on disc two are:

“Trailing Tonks” is a twenty-minute set tour hosted by Nat Tena who plays Tonks in the film. She takes a children’s TV presenter approach to the tour, bursting with excitement and hitting all of the stops covering the least amount of detail along the way.

“The Hidden Secrets of Harry Potter” is a forty-three minute examination of the Harry Potter story, taking us through all five films with plenty of clips and comments by key cast, crew and a few Harry Potter experts. Fairly redundant if you know your Harry Potter, but as someone who’s not read the books and has only seen each film once I found it quite helpful to fill in some of the blanks.

“Additional Scenes” runs just under eleven minutes and mostly consists of scene extensions and some incidental sequences establishing characters or setting the scene. Certainly worth a look and for anyone who thought Emma Thompson was underused in the film then as you get some good extended material here.

“Harry Potter: The Magic of Editing” begins with a five-minute introduction by director David Yates and editor Mark Day who explain the importance of editing with a few examples showing how choice of camera angle, music and sound effects play a key part in making a scene work. Following this you’re given the opportunity to edit your own scene using a simple clean interface that first lets you pick your camera angles (you get 3 shots to make up the scene) and then gives you a choice of music (3 different tracks) and sound effects (2 different tracks). Ultimately it’s all a little too simplistic, with very limited choices particularly when only one each of the music and sound effects tracks are actually any use, but it does let you have a play and should even be easily accessible to kids.

All extras on disc two are presented in 1080i or 1080p widescreen with optional English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Catalan and Portuguese subtitles.

Please note that the box lists a very different set of subtitle options (English, Portuguese, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Korean, Latin Spanish, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish) – this list is not accurate!

É vendo por este lado!

Realmente o mercado lá fora é que vai ditar o que vai e o que não vai!
Mas eu pensei que a Paramount, e outros estudios que estão produzindo HD DVD, já iriam baixar por terra Brasilis, ainda neste Natal!

Os BDS podem ser poucos, mas pelo menos tão aparecendo! Espero que a TOSHIBA não demore e os apoiadores do HD DVD não demorem para tomar a mesma iniciativa senão, não sei não!!!!

Outra coisa que notei, em um EXTRA no Shopping próximo de minha casa encontrei por MILAGRE um aparelho de BD da SAMSUNG vendendo a 3.500 reais, não era só demontração, era para venda mesmo! Agora HD DVD player não vi nenhum ainda, estou me referindo a lojas populares e não FENAC etc. Bom também este BD foi o unico que vi a venda até agora! A coisa da alta definição tá em camera lenta ainda pelo visto!

Agora realmente lançar Harry Potter sem legenda é brincadeira! Aliás qualquer filme eu acho que miseravelmente se não tem Audio em Português precisa no minimo ter a legenda, afinal ninguém é obrigado a falar INGLÊS! Ou dominar o idioma! E francamente para ver filme com dublagem ESPANHOL ou legenda ESPANHOL, prefiro não ver!

É apenas um palpite, porque ninguém pode falar em nome da MS; creio que é para não canibalizarem as vendas dos outros players HD-DVDs; , como deve acontecer agora com o PS3 atualizado para profile 1.1.

Quem vai comprar o new Panasonic ou qualquer outro BD profile 1.1 que aparecer, já sabendo que o PS3 será futuramente upgradable para o 2.0 e ainda é mais barato que estes ?

Note que quando o Onkyo e o Integra foram lançados; quase que instantaneamente, a Toshiba retirou o XA2 de linha para não canibalizar estes 2 lançamentos; aparentemente o HD-DVD group trabalha em equipe; tanto assim que arrumaram até um lugarzinho para o Venturer no Canada e UK :legal:

The Dec 2007 HD DVD Update for Xbox 360 HD DVD Player is now available for download via Xbox Live.

After the update has been installed, the HD DVD player application should now be version 2.0.4645. To check the version of your HD DVD player application while playing a disc, press Display and then select the ? icon.

According to Andy Pennell's Blog (http://blogs.msdn.com/andypennell/default.aspx), this update resolves the following issues that have been identified...

Fixes hang when saving bookmarks on a few network titles when connected to the network (e.g. Transformers, Evan Almighty, Heroes HD DVDs)
Fixes the playback problems associated with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix HD DVD, when In-Movie Experience! (IME) is enabled
Fixes spurious "There was a problem with licensing for this content" error on a few titles (the issue had nothing to do with licensing FYI)
