    Pessoal,

    ORTOFON 2M BLACK PHONO CARTRIDGE

    - 2015, 2014, 2013 Stereophile Recommended Component Class B; 2013 Editors Choice Award The Absolute Sound March 2013 Issue 231.

The Ortofon 2M Black phono cartridge is the moving magnet flagship from Ortofon. It uses a special upgraded engine that's different from that used in the less expensive 2M Red and 2M Blue cartridges. AUDIO-TECHNICA AT-150MLX PHONO CARTRIDGE
    - 2013, 2014, 2015 Editors Choice Award The Absolute Sound March Issue 231, 241, 251.

The Audio-Technica AT150MLX reproduces subtle details faithfully, clearly, exquisitely. It is superbly accurate and musical. It lifts listening to a new level of articulation and enjoyment. This is really the characteristic that distinguishes the Audio-Technica AT150MLX phono cartridge.

"Everything points to the AT150MLX as the best moving magnet design."

    - David A. Rich, The Sensible Sound, Issue 112, May/June 2007

Six technologies are harnessed to produce this extraordinary and highly accurate phono cartridge:
    - Vector-Aligned™ phono cartridge: Patented by Audio-Technica, vector-aligned phono cartridges feature two magnetic generators arranged in the shape of a "V". These two magnets are positioned precisely to match the positions of the right and left channels in the stereo record groove. Major benefits of the Vector-Aligned cartridge include outstanding channel separation, very low distortion and superb tracking performance.

    - Boron cantilever: Its tiny, gold plated boron cantilever provides an extremely rigid yet lightweight platform to which the stylus is mounted. The gold plating also acts to dampen the nano resonance that the boron may produce.

    - MicroLine™ Stylus: The stylus used in the Audio-Technica AT150MLX is the latest and most advanced design. More closely resembling the cutter stylus than any previous design, this shape produces better high frequency response with less wear or distortion than with earlier configurations.

    - PCOCC wire: A technologically advanced pure copper material is used in Audio-Technica's exclusive Paratoroidal Signal Generator. Together with the laminated core structure, which minimizes loss in the high frequency region, this integrated paratoriodal signal generator achieves an efficiency greater than conventional cartridges. The use of PCOCC wire (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) perfects the performance of the advanced paratoroidal coil design. A special high-temperature extrusion die produces copper with virtually no transverse crystal barriers to impede signal transmission or color sound. Even the output terminals are constructed of PCOCC copper. The coils of the Audio-Technica AT150MLX thus transmit distortion-free sound up to its output posts. The most subtle details are reproduced with clarity and purity.

    - Mu-metal shielding: A mu-metal shielding plate between the left and right channels in the generator system assure that the high level of channel separation achieved is preserved at the cartridge output.

    - Anti-resonance ceramic mounting base: To further increase the accuracy of the AT150MLX's moving system, Audio-Technica engineers have ensured against unwanted parasitic vibration with an anti-resonance ceramic mounting base.

Minha primeira MC, Denon DL-103, a clássica porta de entrada para o mundo das "Moving Coil" (infos by LPgear).

    DENON DL-103 DL 103 DL103 PHONO CARTRIDGE
    - Stereophile Recommended Component Class C 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

"For the first round-up, I was initially to have received the slightly upscale version of Denon's venerable DL-103 (the "R" version)—favored by none another than Dave Wilson, regardless of price, for its tonal accuracy and overall balance—but instead perhaps due to a communication mix-up, I ended up with the straight DL-103. Whichever model you consider, at $379 and $229 respectively, this true classic, which has been in production since I got into this hobby in the mid-70s, must be counted among audio's most remarkable values."
    - Wayne Garcia, The Absolute Sound, October 2010, Issue 206, p36

The Denon DL-103 phono cartridge is the only moving coil cartridge that has withstood the test of time. Developed by Denon in collaboration with the Japan Broadcasting Corporation Technical Research Laboratories as a high-performance, high-reliability phono cartridge for broadcasting purposes, the Denon DL-103 has been in continuous production since 1963.

While other "wonder" cartridges have come and gone, the Denon DL-103 continues to thrive by offering musical rightness. There is no other cartridge that comes close to its legacy. The Denon DL-103 phono cartridge has been in use for a long time in public and commercial AM and FM broadcasting stations. It was used by EMI and Decca as their reference for evaluating LP sound quality. It's been evaluated, reviewed and praised by many publications and end-users. It's been around for over 40 years. Along the way, it has captured the hearts and minds of technical experts, audiophiles and music lovers. It's a testament that greatness endures. This is what comes with your ownership of a Denon DL-103. It is a phono cartridge that you will enjoy for a very long time.

Denon DL-110, uma MC de alta saída, pra quem procura uma MC pra tocar em pré-de-phono MM. Som aveludado, uma delícia. Infos by LPgear.

The Denon DL-110 phono cartridge was designed to enable more people to enjoy the exquisite sound quality of moving coil (MC) phono cartridges. Developed using Denon's state of the art MC cartridge manufacturing know-how, the Denon DL-110 is a moving coil cartridge capable of producing a high output of 1.6mV which is equivalent to the output of moving magnet (MM) phono cartridges. The Denon DL-110 phono cartridge can thus be directly connected the MM phono input of your amplifier or receiver without the need for a step-up transformer, head amplifier or pre-preamp.

State-of-the-art technology has been employed in the minute sections of the Denon DL-110 phono cartridge such as the traditional cross-shape armature, dual-construction cantilever and the vibration-center one point support method using suspension wires. This enables balanced characteristics and excellent sound quality comparable to higher priced cartridges.

With the Denon DL-110 original vibrating section and its two-way damping method, sound quality fluctuations due to temperature differences are kept to a minimum. In addition, the overall weight has been reduced by simplifying the magnetic circuit thus improving the tracing ability of the stylus against record warps.

The Denon DL-110 phono cartridge uses a special elliptical stylus with a rectangular cross section of 0.1 x 0.2 mm. It reaches deep into the record groove to extract detail while bypassing groove wall beaten and shorn by age, misuse and misalignment. You'll probably be surprised by how quiet your LPs sound.

Proper setup is very important with the Denon DL-110 phono cartridge. Take the time to get it right and you'll be rewarded with its naturally sweet tonal balance, ambiance, quick transient response, and exquisite articulation. If you've been wondering why many have been captivated by moving coils, the Denon DL-110 will offer you many positive reasons why.
